1. Introduction to the conditions
Welcome to the Bilparken Rental AB - your partner for memorable holidays on wheels. We offer modern, safe and fully equipped motorhomes for hire in Sweden, with the aim of providing every customer with a comfortable, safe and carefree holiday experience.
To create clarity between the parties and ensure a smooth and responsible letting process, we have compiled these rental conditions. The Terms and Conditions constitute the binding agreement between Bilparken Rental AB (hereinafter referred to as Landlords or UH) and the person or organisation hiring a vehicle (hereinafter referred to as Tenants or HT).
By booking a vehicle via our website, by telephone, e-mail or on site, and upon receipt and use of the rented vehicle, you as HT undertake to comply with these terms and conditions in full. The terms and conditions apply regardless of whether the booking is made in your own name or on behalf of another person. It is HT's responsibility to ensure that everyone travelling or using the vehicle is aware of the rules.
We encourage you to carefully read all points of these terms and conditions before making a booking. If anything is unclear, please feel free to contact us - we will be happy to answer your questions.

2. letting periods
To ensure a well-organised and fair handling of all our rentals, we apply clearly defined rental periods with fixed times for both collection and return. All rentals depart from and return to our facility in Svedala.
2.1 Booking and prices
Bookings can be made directly here on the website or by appointment via email or telephone.
Our prices start from 1 850 SEK per day, depending on the season and vehicle type.
Rentals are for full days and are charged per day or part thereof.
2.2 Seasons and period rules
We distinguish between low season and high season, which affects both booking conditions and length of rental. In high season, booking is required for at least 7 days, while shorter periods are possible in the low season.

2.3 Important rules for extradition and return
All vehicles shall are returned fully refuelled (diesel). If this is not followed, an administrative fee of 500 SEKand the actual cost of refuelling based on our estimate.
By delayed return will be debited SEK 1 000 per hour or part thereof. It is therefore important to meet the deadline to avoid delays for the next customer.
Toilet seat and grey water tank shall be emptied and cleaned upon return. If this has not been done, a decontamination fee of 5 000 SEK.
Letting is only done with predetermined time frame, and deviations must be agreed in writing before the start of the rental period.
3. insurance and additional services
When you rent a vehicle from Bilparken Rental AB, your rental is covered by insurance and the possibility of various additional services that make your journey both safer and more comfortable. Below you will find detailed information about excesses, cancellation cover, deposit and extra options such as electric scooter, gas grill and pizza oven.
3.1 Insurance and excesses
Our motorhomes are fully insured through our insurance partner. In case of damage or accident, the following excesses apply:

Internal damage
Damage inside the motorhome that is not covered by the motorhome insurance will be charged at the actual repair cost.
3.2 Penalties
In order to maintain high standards and deliver vehicles in top condition to the next customer, the following charges apply for non-return:

3.3 Cancellation protection
You have the option to sign a cancellation insurance for SEK 1 500 per motorhome. The cover gives you the right to cancel up to and including the day before the rental period starts and only be charged a handling fee of SEK 1,995 if something unforeseen happens.
Cancellation cover applies in the event of:
Death, illness or accident (for you, your spouse/partner, family or fellow traveller)
Call-up to military or civil defence service
Serious, unforeseen event (e.g. fire or flood at home)
Conditions:
The event must not have been known at the time of booking
A written certificate from a doctor, authority or insurance company is required
The certificate should be sent to us within one week of the cancellation date

The deposit is refunded in full on return provided the car is undamaged, cleaned, refuelled and the toilet tanks emptied. Minor damage below the excess will be deducted directly from the deposit.

The pizza oven allows you to cook Neapolitan pizza under the stars - a popular addition for families and food lovers.
3.6 Important to know
Smoking is prohibited in all our motorhomes. In case of violation, a decontamination fee will be charged.
The hirer is responsible for their personal belongings - these are not covered by the vehicle insurance. We recommend that you take out your own home insurance to protect yourself.
The lessor is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is fully insured and in a roadworthy condition upon collection.
3.7 Free miles - drive as far as you want
At Bilparken Rental, we want you to feel freedom and flexibility throughout your journey. That is why we offer the possibility to buy to free miles when you rent one of our motorhomes. For those who rent a caravan, it's even easier. which automatically includes free kilometres in the rent.
3.7.1 Motorhomes - choose if you want free miles
Included as standard 20 free miles per paid day when you rent a motorhome. If you drive further than this, there is a charge of SEK 30 per extra mile, which is invoiced upon return.

The service can be booked directly at the time of your online reservation or via our customer service centre. It provides you with unlimited mileage within Sweden throughout the rental period - safely and worry-free.
3.7.2 Caravan - free miles always included
When you rent our Hero Camper caravan free kilometres are automatically included in the rental price no optional extras required. You never pay extra, no matter how far you drive in Sweden. That makes renting simple, clear and without surprises.
3.7.3 Important when travelling outside Sweden
Please note that whether you rent motorhome or caravan, must all travel outside Sweden must be authorised in advance of the Car Park Rental. This is important for insurance and security reasons.

4. Toilets and cleaning
In order to deliver a clean, fresh and hygienic vehicle to each customer, we set clear requirements for cleaning and handling of toilet and water upon return. These guidelines apply whether you choose to clean yourself or buy our interior cleaning service.
4.1 Toilet and water
The toilet must always be emptied and cleaned by the lessee. This applies regardless of whether you have chosen the additional service for internal cleaning toilet cleaning is never included in that service.

On collection, a joint review and inspection of the motorhome is carried out together with the rental manager. The same procedure is followed on return.
4.2 Cleaning of the motorhome on return
As a customer, you are responsible for returning the motorhome in a clean and tidy condition, corresponding to the condition of the vehicle at the time of collection. You can either choose to clean yourself or buy our professional cleaning service.

If you choose to do the cleaning yourself, the following is expected:

When ordering interior cleaning, we are responsible for ensuring that the kitchen, table, floor, bathroom (not toilet cassette) and general areas are sparkling clean for the next customer. The cleaning is done with environmentally friendly products and professional equipment.
4.3 Control and post-clearance recovery
In the event of a return, a inspection of the state of cleanliness. Any deficiencies may incur additional charges according to the following guidelines:

5. use and care of the vehicle
Renting a motorhome is a big responsibility. To ensure safety, proper functioning and correct use throughout the rental period, certain requirements are imposed on the hirer (HT). Below are detailed rules on use, maintenance, fault management and liability for delays and payment.
5.1 Scope of use and authorisation
The motorhome may only be used for the normal use of The hirer (HT) in Sweden, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the lessor (UH). The vehicle is a recreational vehicle and may only be driven by persons who hold a valid driving licence and who have been approved by UH.

The police, customs or other authorised representative may seize the vehicle if HT attempts to take it out of Sweden without permission. All costs for such situations will be charged to HT in full.
5.2 Rent and payment terms
The rent is determined at the time of booking and is specified in the rental agreement. HT is always jointly and severally liable for payment, even if the invoice is issued to another natural or legal person.

UH is entitled to charge HT for any costs incurred during the rental period, e.g. extra mileage, clean-up or damage.
5.3 Delayed or non-delivery
Bilparken Rental AB always does its utmost to provide vehicles as agreed. We understand that your travel plans are important and endeavour to fulfil our commitments to the letter. Despite this, in rare cases, circumstances may arise that we cannot control.
Unforeseen events and breakdowns
Vehicles returned by former customers may in some cases prove to be defective, vandalised or have technical faults that cannot be repaired within a reasonable time. In such cases we will:
Offer a replacement vehicle if we have one available alternative that fulfil reasonably equivalent requirements.
Inform you as HT as soon as possible about the problem, and what options are available.
If no replacement vehicle is available and UH is therefore unable to fulfil the contract, HT is entitled to:
Few the rent amount refunded for the unutilised period
Get some price reduction in case of short delays
Cancelling the contract if the delay is of substantial importance and no acceptable alternative is offered
Force Majeure
The UH is free from liability for damages for non-delivery or delayed delivery if it is due to circumstances beyond the control of the UH, e.g:
Vehicle breakdown without warning
Serious road accidents
Natural disasters
Epidemics/pandemics
Power cuts, computer system failures or technical malfunctions
Administrative decisions or other legal obstacles
These exceptions apply if the TSO could not reasonably foresee or prevent the event at the time of conclusion of the contract. Compensation is not payable for indirect damage, consequential costs or business loss.
5.4 Vehicle care and maintenance
HT is responsible for ensuring that the motorhome is handled carefully, cared for correctly and kept in good condition. This includes following all instructions in the vehicle's manual and the rules of this agreement.

Pets are welcome in some of our vehicles, but this requires prior notification at the time of booking. For hygiene reasons, we only offer certain vehicles for this purpose, and an additional cleaning fee may apply. In case of unauthorised transport of animals, a decontamination fee will be charged.
5.5 Faults, damage and theft - what do you do?
In the event of a fault or damage during the rental period, the following procedure applies:

Failure to act in accordance with these instructions may result in HT being liable for the additional costs incurred by UH.
6. liability, damage and return
It is of utmost importance for both the hirer (HT) and the lessor (UH) that the vehicle is handled correctly and responsibly. The following explains in detail what happens in case of damage, breakdown, traffic violations, return and when UH has the right to cancel the contract.
6.1 TSO's liability in case of damage or breakdown
UH is responsible for ensuring that the hired vehicle is in fully functional and lawful condition at the time of delivery. If the vehicle is damaged during the rental period fault or breakdown because of its condition, the following applies:

About the vehicle is stolen or has a wagon breakdown/accident which makes the continuation of the journey impossible, HT may cancel the contract after contacting UH and, in case of theft, after a a police report has been drawn up.
6.2 HT's liability for traffic offences and charges
HT is responsible for all charges and offences arising during the rental period, unless these are due to faults in the vehicle that HT could not detect.

6.3 HT's liability for damage or loss of the vehicle
The HT is responsible for any damage or loss of the vehicle which occurs during the rental period, unless it is normal wear and tear or a situation where a third party has recognised liability.

HT undertakes to take note of and sign the UH damage documentation in the context of extradition.
6.4 Mitigation of damage
Both HT and UH are obliged to take reasonable measures to minimise any damage. Failure to do so may result in the party bearing the increased costs that could have been avoided.
6.5 Return of the vehicle
At the end of the hire period, the vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was delivered, apart from normal wear and tear. If the vehicle is returned in a soiled or neglected condition, UH is entitled to charge reasonable fees for restoration.

6.6 The right of the UH to cancel the contract
The UH is authorised to immediately cancelling the lease om:

In these cases, UH may take back the vehicle without compensation to HT. Any costs associated with the cancellation will be charged to HT.
7. processing of personal data
Bilparken Rental AB (UH) protects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and according to procedures established in our internal privacy policy.
When you are Tenants (HT) If you hire a vehicle from us, or if you are named as a driver in a hire agreement, this means that we need to collect and process certain information about you. This is done in order to:
Enable booking, contracting and renting
Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. accounting, traffic offences, insurance matters)
Manage and follow up on damages, errors and liabilities during the rental period
Providing customer service and communication
Preventing abuse and protecting the organisation
7.1 What data is processed?

7.2 Legal basis for processing
Our processing of personal data is mainly based on:

Legitimate interest (e.g. protecting vehicles, preventing abuse, ensuring payment)
We only keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose in question or as required by applicable law.
7.3 Information obligation in case of multiple drivers
If a person other than HT is to drive the vehicle during the rental period, HT is responsible for ensuring that this driver receive clear information about the processing of their personal data under this chapter. By accepting the rental agreement, HT undertakes to pass on this information to all designated drivers.
7.4 Reporting to the industry information list
In cases where HT breaches the general rental conditions - for example through unpaid debts, vandalism, misuse of vehicles or gross negligence - UH may report HT to the Car Rental Sweden information list.
This information list is an industry-wide tool aimed at reducing the risk of fraud and abuse in rental activities. The following applies:

Note that the decision to report to the information list is not taken lightly. It is only made after the HT has been given the opportunity to respond to any allegations and after internal assessment of the case.

8. general conditions
Bilparken Rental AB offers safe, well-equipped motorhomes for hire to private individuals with reasonable and clear conditions. To avoid misunderstandings and to guarantee a good experience for all customers, we describe here what is included in the rental, what is not included, and our other basic requirements for renting a vehicle with us.
8.1 What is included in the rent
When you rent a motorhome with us, the following equipment and accessories are included at no extra cost:

8.2 This is not included in the rent

8.3 Past damage and availability
We do our best to ensure that all vehicles are ready on time and in good condition. But sometimes unforeseen situations can arise. If the vehicle is damaged by the previous customer, making it unusable or a traffic hazard, the following applies:
We offer a replacement vehicle in the first instance of an equivalent class, if available.
In exceptional cases delays occur in the delivery - we will inform you as soon as we are aware of this.
If you discover fault or damage on the vehicle during your rental period, you must inform us immediately so that we can take action for the next customer.
It is the HT's responsibility to notify errors as soon as possible - this increases the chance that we can fix the problem before the next booking.
8.4 Prior checking and reservation requirements
In order to rent vehicles from Bilparken Rental AB, certain basic requirements must be met. These are in place to minimise risk and to ensure responsible handling of our vehicles.

We always treat credit information confidentially and in accordance with the GDPR and good industry practice. You will be informed of the decision if we choose not to fulfil your booking.
8.5 Other
All the terms and conditions of this agreement apply regardless of whether the booking is made online, by telephone or in person.
The rental conditions are valid as long as they are published and are subject to change. The latest conditions are always available on our website.
By making a booking, you agree to all the terms and conditions in this document.
9. Other provisions
This chapter contains complementary provisions regulating specific situations, responsibilities and rights for both The tenant (HT) and The lessor (UH). The aim is to clarify what applies in the event of unforeseen circumstances, the limits of liability and how disputes should be handled.
9.1 Force majeure
Bilparken Rental AB is not liable for delays, non-deliveries or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, so-called force majeure. This includes, but is not limited to:
Natural disasters
Extreme weather conditions
Fires, explosions or sabotage
Pandemics or epidemics
Technical failures beyond our control
Strike, lockout or other labour dispute
Transport problems or fuel shortages
Government decisions or legal restrictions
In case of force majeure, we always do our utmost to mitigate the consequences and inform HT as soon as possible.
9.2 Right to refuse or cancel a letting
The UH reserves the right to refuse or cancel a letting, including after booking or on delivery, if any of the following apply
HT behaves threateningly, under the influence of alcohol or drugs
HT cannot present a valid driving licence or documentation
HT is acting dishonestly or is deemed to be a security risk
Credit report or previous history gives UH reasonable grounds to refrain from letting
In such cases, any rental paid (excluding the booking fee) will be refunded, provided that the vehicle has not already been collected.
9.3 Limited liability for the lessee's belongings
The UH is not responsible for loss, theft or damage on the HT's personal belongings or luggage, either during the rental period or after return. The HT is requested to ensure that home insurance or similar protection is provided for the items carried.
9.4 Interpretation, choice of law and dispute resolution
This lease is governed by Swedish law. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through dialogue between the parties, the matter shall in the first instance be heard by Malmö District Court as the first instance.
UH and HT undertake to endeavour to resolve disputes as far as possible through dialogue and mediation before legal action is taken. In the first instance, we aim for good communication and fair treatment of both parties.
10. rights, responsibilities and enforcement
This chapter contains general conditions regarding the validity of the contract, rights, application of law and responsibilities between The tenant (HT) and The lessor (UH).
10.1 Validity of the contract
The lease is considered legally binding once it has been approved by the HT:
Signing of physical or digital copy
Booking via the Bilparken Rentals website
Confirmation by e-mail or other written communication
The terms and conditions apply regardless of whether the booking is made via the website, telephone, e-mail or on site, and cover all vehicles rented out by Bilparken Rental AB.
10.2 Amendments and additions
UH reserves the right to update or adjust the rental conditions as necessary. However, the version of the terms and conditions in force at the time of booking is the one that governs the current rental relationship.
Changes to the terms and conditions are published on our website. It is the HT's responsibility to read and familiarise themselves with the current version before booking.
10.3 Transfer and use
HT is not allowed to transfer the rental agreement, or rent/sublet the vehicle to a third party, without written authorisation from UH. The vehicle may only be used by persons authorised under the agreement and for the purpose for which it is intended (recreational use).
10.4 Scope of the agreement
This contract covers all points in chapters 1-10, including annexes, optional services and insurance conditions. Any oral agreements must be confirmed in writing to be valid.
10.5 Applicable law and jurisdiction
This agreement is subject to Swedish law. In judicial review proceedings Malmö District Court be the first instance. The parties undertake to try to resolve disputes primarily through dialogue and mediation.

11. Other provisions and legislation
This chapter contains additional provisions on legal interpretation, liability, choice of law, and how to deal with any questions of interpretation. The aim is to ensure a clear and legally certain application of the lease for both parties.
11.1 Completeness and interpretation
This Agreement constitutes the the full agreement between The tenant (HT) and The lessor (UH) concerning the hire of recreational vehicles. Any previous agreements, whether written or oral, are superseded by this agreement unless expressly referred to and attached in writing.
In the event of any ambiguity or question of interpretation in this document, the contract shall be interpreted in favour of the party that did not draw up the terms - normally the HT - in accordance with the principles of contract law.
11.2 Limitation of liability
The UH is not responsible for indirect damage, consequential loss or loss of profit which HT may claim as a result of delays, breakdowns, technical problems or non-rental - provided that there is no gross negligence or intent.
The UH disclaims any liability for:
Lack of comfort or subjective experience
External disturbance (road works, traffic, weather)
Interruption of access to camping infrastructure or electricity
Loss of personal belongings
11.3 Illegal use
HT may not use the vehicle for illegal activities, the transport of prohibited goods or in any other way that contravenes Swedish or foreign law. In the event of a suspected offence, UH has the right to cancel the agreement immediately and inform the relevant authority.
11.4 Invalidity of individual provision
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this not affect the validity of the other provisions. In that case, the provision in question shall be replaced by an equivalent and legally valid formulation.
11.5 Subcontracting and co-operation
UH has the right to co-operate with other actors to provide complementary services such as insurance, cleaning, gas refuelling or assistance services. Such co-operation is regulated separately and does not affect HT's responsibilities under this Agreement.
11.6 Electronic signatures and digital communication
This Agreement may be entered into and accepted by digital signature, e-mail confirmation or other electronic method approved by UH. HT agrees that communication regarding booking, terms and conditions and payment will take place via e-mail or other digital channels.
